New "Worlds of solutions" concept implemented at Non-Food of MAKRO Krakow

MAKRO Cash & Carry Poland has successfully transformed the first Non-Food departments at its Krakow wholesale store to offer customers an enhanced shopping experience.

The remodeling is part of the wholesale company's global Non-Food strategy which is being carried out in other countries. The entire Non-Food sales floor is now restructured into 5 "worlds of solutions", namely, Seasonal; Business & Home Care; Kitchen, Cooking and Table; Office & Media as well as Apparel.

The restructuring is the company's renewed efforts to provide its professional customers with more comfortable in-store shopping experience and a combination of products and solutions, as an answer to the latest customer needs for Non-Food items.

As a result of careful analysis and closer understanding of customers' needs, the easy-to-navigate floor structure and adjusted product assortment are now put in place with a strong focus on professional solutions. Within each of the five worlds, categories are closely connected with different themed solutions to address specific customer needs more effectively.

The refurbishment has met with positive customer feedback with increasing traffic and sales in the Non-Food departments. MAKRO Cash & Carry Poland is prepared to roll the new concept out to other outlets across the country.
