Metro China unveils new Cash and Carry store concept

Metro China is displaying its new Cash and Carry store concept at the 18th Food & Hospitality China (FHC) 2014 trade show.

Metro has modified the store concept, which not only offers upgraded services and a convivial environment, but also allows link up to hotels, restaurants, catering (HoReCa) customers.

The "Inspirational Corner"is a communication and exchange platform for cookery specialists and professional customers in the HoReCa industry.

Next to it sits "METRO Café", where free self-service is offered to customers who want to relax after some frantic retail therapy, along with free Wi-Fi, computers and printers.

METRO China caters to over 223,000 restaurants, hotels, catering companies and canteens. Apart from its own special brands, such as HoReCa Select, H-Line and Rioba, developed for the HoReCa industry, METRO provides beverage and breakfast, fresh product baskets and portion products to hotels, restaurants and canteens, respectively.
